Stephanie Turnham Executive Director of the Western Art Museum of Western Art introduced Charlie McIlvain our guest speaker.

Charlie presented a program telling all the things the Kerrville Convention & Visitors Bureau does to help keep people visiting the Kerrville Area.

Charlie McIlvain was born and grew up in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He attended New Mexico Military Institute and New Mexico State University, graduating with degrees in Management and Marketing. Graduate studies include graduation from the Institute for Organization Management (IOM Certification) in conjunction with the United States Chamber of Commerce and Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. In 1991, McIlvain received his "CTP” Certified Tour Professional designation from the National Tour Association; and, in 2015 received his “TDM”, Texas Destination Marketing certification from the Texas Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.
MeIlvain's professional activities and honors include, The Kerrville Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors - beginning in 2012, and
Vice President of KEDC 2015 - Present ; Kerrville Rotary Club Board Member 2012 Present Texas Hill Country Trail President 2014-2016; Leadership Kerr County Steering Committee – 2014-Present. and many more!!!
