Kendall County EDC

Misty Mayo is a former Rotary exchange student who lived in the Netherlands, and called it one of the most impactful experiences of her life.  She is the executive director of the Kendall County Economic Development Corporation. Kendall county has a population of nearly 39,000, and Boerne makes up about 12,835 of that. It is 10th in the state in per capita income and the average price of a home is $270,000.00   With San Antonio encroaching fast on its doorstep, Boerne has some challenges ahead. Transportation planning is underway to alleviate congestion, as 5,000 new homes are planned in the coming 20-30 year period.
