Rotary Kerrville dedicated its Centennial flagpoles at the new Kerrville Public Safety Building during a special noon meeting and ceremony in Guardian Plaza. The event honored Police Week and featured remarks from city leaders, a presentation of colors by Tivy ROTC, and tours of the new facility.
The Rotary Club of Kerrville held its noon meeting at the new City of Kerrville Public Safety Building to formally dedicate the Centennial flagpoles at Guardian Plaza. President Trey Atkisson opened the program, followed by an invocation from Rotarian and former Kerrville Mayor Bill Blackburn. President‑Elect Layng Guerrero provided an overview of the ceremony, which featured remarks from Police Chief Chris McCall and Fire Chief Eric Maloney on behalf of their departments.
The Tivy High School ROTC presented the colors and raised the flags as part of the dedication, held in recognition of Police Week. A large group of Rotarians, city officials, and community partners attended the event. Lunch was provided by Jersey Mike’s, and attendees were offered guided tours of the new facility. The flagpoles were funded through Rotary’s Centennial Project, commemorating 100 years of service to the Kerrville community.
