First Responder Awards

 

The First Responder luncheon and awards continues to be one of the most popular community service programs Rotary offers each year.  The awards are presented by the heads of various law enforcement agencies of Kerr County, and each presenter provided a short background for each recipient. Pictured above are:

 

    Kerr County First Responder of the Year, EMT-B Mack McKinney of the Center Point Volunteer Fire Dept.,

    Game Warden of the Year, Game Warden IV Kenny Lee, Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. .  

    State Trooper of the Year, Trooper III Anthony Ortiz, Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol,

    Deputy Sheriff of the Year, Capt. Carol Twiss, Kerr County Sheriff's Office, 

    Corrections Officer of the Year, Asst. Jail Administrator Andrew Blizzard, Kerr County Sheriff's Office,

    EMS Person of the Year, Emergency Medical Technician  Nikki Dooley of the Kerrville Fire Dept.,
    Police Officer of the Year, Officer William Allen of the Kerrville Police Dept.,
