Prayers should go out for our fellow club member, Dr. Jon Sibert, and his family, on the death of his mother, Jean Mims Hicks, on Feb. 18 in Kerrville.     Funeral services and burial were in Comanche, Texas, on Feb. 27.
The family has suggested that memorials for Ms Mims go to Special Olympics of Texas at 1804 Rutherford Lane, Austin  TX 78754  or the Humane Society of the United States at Box 96930, Washington,  DC 20677.

Our longtime member Mike Cook underwent eye surgery and reports some improvement.   However, enough of the problem remains that he has a consultation scheduled for early March to talk about a more extensive operation that might clear up the rest of the problem.  So please keep Mike in your prayers.

I think that most of you are aware that we lost one of our members earlier this week, but I'll share that sad news for any who haven't heard it.   Fred Moseley passed away suddenly at his home in Hunt.  Visitation was Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapel in downtown Kerrville and the service was at the Hunt United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with a reception afterward.   Fred had been active in both the Hunt School and the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department, and the family suggests that memorials go to those entities.  Meantime, please keep Janet and the rest of Fred's family in your prayers.
