The Rise against Hunger event is scheduled for September 20.
 
The next beautification project (trash pick up) along Goat Creek Rd. will be September 27.
 
The Polio Plus fund raising event will be October 23. Our club has been number one in the district for funds raised to eradicate polio. Help is needed for this event, so please contact Kristy Vandenberg to lend a hand.
 
Rotarians are needed to continue helping cleanup efforts after the flood. Volunteers recently helped at Bumble Bee Estates. Contact Greg Faldyn or sign up with Disaster Aid
 
Rotarian Quincy Smith is offering free ear acupuncture treatments to those affected by the floods. These treatments can help with stress relief, grief support, trauma recovery and community healing.  Kerrville Community Acupunture 
 
The local Goodwill Industries is in need of volunteers to help with free clothing organizing and distribution for flood victims.  They have opened a new location just for this purpose in the River Oaks Shopping Center, 827 Junction Highway, suite 831.
 
Our club will continue to do Classification Talks each month, where we find out more about our members. If you are interested in doing a short talk about yourself and your classification, contact Charlie McIlvain or Clint Morse.
