Tivy Coach David Jones

Coach David Jones was the guest speaker last Wednesday. Coach Jones has been the athletic director and head football coach at Tivy High School since 2012. Although the football team has struggled to find their first win of the season, Coach had a good perspective on the season. During hard times, he asks himself why do you do what you do for a living? The answer for a coach is to have an impact on the kids lives. He tries to inspire them to get back up after they keep getting knocked down. The lessons they learn this season are difficult, but they are valuable because they are life lessons that cannot not be experienced in a perfect season.
