Dear Club,
This is a friendly reminder that this week we do not have a noon meeting, but instead have the picnic.  The picnic will be relocated to the Dietert Center, because of the forecast of rain.  I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow evening for fellowship and fun.
The next few weeks will present many volunteer opportunities if you are interested.  We're picking up trash next Saturday morning at 7:30.  Meet at Tally Elementary and enjoy a cup of coffee and a kolache!
Josh the Otter Water Safety Program is in full swing.  We've presented at several area elementary schools and still have a lot to go!  If you're interested in helping, see Paul Anderson or Kristy Vandenberg to find out what dates are upcoming.
The Citizenship Awards for area fifth graders during end of year assemblies.  If you're interested in helping present these awards, see Jeff Anderson.
Scholarship presentations will be over the next few weeks.   If you're interested in helping present, please let me know.   If you're on the scholarship committee, you may be wondering why you weren't asked to evaluate applications this year.  Sadly, we only had 14 applicants from all the schools.  The committee chairs review the applications carefully and decided that all 14 applicants were worthy of some funding.
As we're wrapping up this Rotary, please send me any photos you've taken of Rotarians at work in our community so I can include them on my end of year presentation to the club.
Thanks & have a Blessed Day!
