Club President Layng Guerriero provided an interesting tidbit about the four way test origins:
The Four-Way Test originated in 1932, created by Herbert J. Taylor. It was developed when Taylor was tasked with saving a company facing bankruptcy, and he sought a way to guide ethical decision-making. In 1940, Taylor granted Rotary International permission to use the Four-Way Test, which officially became a symbol of Rotary ethics in 1943.
There is a Corporate Membership classification in Rotary that may be a good fit for businesses in the area. For more information, please contact Ashley Phillips.
