Bridget Collins, principal of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic School, gave an overview of this regional private school in Kerrville.
OLOH is an independently owned school, and is not supported by the diocese or the church. It is co-ed, and provides college prepatory classes, athletics, clubs and community service projects to produce well rounded graduates.
Several students spoke about their experiences at Our Lady of the Hills.
Tristan O'Neill transferred from Comfort ISD for his senior year, and is a member of the student council, NHS, science club and plays basketball and baseball. He will be attending Texas Tech next fall.
Taylor Bloom has attended OLOH for all four years, plays basketball and volleyball, participates in 4H activities, is on the student council and a NHS member. She loves animals, and will attend Texas Tech next fall as a pre-vet major.
Albert Vasquez is the valedictorian for his senior class, and attended Notre Dame catholic school prior to his tenure at Our Lady of the Hills. He has logged numerous hours of community service, plays guitar, and started a music club at school. He will attend Texas A&M in the fall, majoring in Chemical Engineering.
