Mayor Jack Pratt introduced City Manager Todd Parton, who provided the program detailing the upcoming Sports Complex in Kerrville. Located on Holdsworth Drive, the facility will consist of baseball and soccer fields to be used by numerous age groups. The Cailloux Foundation has donated $3,000,00.00 towards the $12,000,000.00 project in land, management and design, and contributions to the construction for the project. The complex totals 105 acres, and will have 501 parking spaces for baseball and 290 spaces for soccer.  There are 11 baseball fields to serve little league, club ball, competitive high school and collegiate teams, and adult softball leagues. In addition, a 35,000 s.f. indoor facility will consist of batting cages, instructional areas, a pro shop, concessions and restrooms to serve baseball needs.  The soccer portion will be on 35 acres and will offer concession, restrooms and a meeting room. Construction is expected to start in early 2016.
