It was a pleasure to listen to a lady that truly believes in what she is doing. She told of her life in camping world. Staff close to 100. Kitchen staff of 11.
Dr. in the camp 24/ 7. Has 150 kids at a time and like 350 total all summer. Camp last only 28 days now. Two sessions a summer. This is due to the shrinking of summer by the schools.
About Jane Ragsdale
Jane Ragsdale (Mrs. Dick Howell) is the director of Heart O’ the Hills. She was a Heart camper and counselor, and served as program director from 1978-87. She has been one of the owners since 1976, and director since 1988.
