George Eychner had quite the surprise in store, especially for one of our Rotary Club members.
His sing-along slide offered up some original words to the tune of "Deep in the Heart of Texas."
As the crowd began to sing the lyrics, Tim Crenwelge, car dealer, was all smiles as he realized the song was about his business' remodeling work.
The "Crenwelge Remodeling Song" -- to the rhythm of "Deep in the Heart of Texas" went a little something like this:

Tim's oc-ta-gon is now all gone,
deep in the heart of Kerrville,
a fix-ture in our town's no more,
re-moved from Junction Hi-way.
Ol' Tim has been a re-mod-el-in,
and change-in' down-town Kerr-ville,
we'll wait and see what the next change will be,
deep in the Heart of Kerr-ville.
