Events

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the Tally Elementary School Second Graders at 9 AM and the Third Graders at 10 AM.  We will need 5 to 6 Rotarian Volunteers and we should arrive at teh school office shortly after 8:30 AM for registration and setup.

On Monday, 05May25, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program at Hunt Elementary School to the Second graders at 9:15 AM and the Third Graders at 10 AM.  We will need 3 to 4 Rotary Volunteers and we should arrive at the school office around 8:50 AM for registrationa nd setup.

May 6th, 2025, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program at Center Point Elementary School to the Second Graders at 8:30 AM and the Third Graders at 9:00 AM.  We will need about four Rotarian volunteers.

On Tuesday, 06May25, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program at Starkey Elementary School to the Third Graders at 1:30 PM and the Second Graders at 2:10 PM.  We will need 5 to 6 Rotarian Volunteers.  If you are only available in the morning or the afternoon, please indicate in the sign up comments.  Volunteers should arrive at the school office around 1:00 PM for registration and setup.  Note the change from a split session, morning and afternoon, to now both sessions in the afternoon.

We will provide the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the students at the Hill Country Youth Ranch in Ingram at 3 PM on Wednesday, May 7th.  We need 2 to 3 Rotary volunteers.  Please arrive around 2:40 PM for registration and setup.

We will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the Hill COuntry Youth Ranch Big Springs/Brune students at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 8th.  We need 2 to 3 Rotary volunteers.  Please arrive about 20 minutes early (1:10 PM) for registration and setup.

On Wednesday May 14th we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the Tom Daniels Elementary 3rd Graders at 9:50 AM and teh 2nd Graders at 2:15 PM.  We wil have time to attend Rotary in between the sessions.  Please check in at the School Office around 9:30 AM.  If you can only attend one of the two sessions, please let me know (Dave R).

On Thursday, May 15th, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the Notre Dame 1st and 2nd Graders at 9 AM.  We will need 3 to 4 Rotary Volunteers and shoudl arrive at eh School office around 8:40 AM for registrationa nd setup.

On Thursday, May 15th, we will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety Program to the Nimitz Elementary School 3rd Graders at 1 PM and the 2nd Graders at 1:30 PM.  We will need 5 to 6 Rotary Volunteers and we should arrive at teh School Office around 12:40 AM for registrationa dn setup.

Join the fun, helping to staff a Rotary booth at the Kerrville KROC.  Event is sponsored by the Kerrville Police Department and Kerrville Host Lions Club.

Talk about Rotary, play cornhole toss, support the kids.

Please join your fellow Rotarians & Impactors for a Highway Beautification (Trash Pick-Up) event on Saturday, September 27th.  We will meet in front of Tally Elementary at 8am.  There will be kolaches, donuts and water!

Wear comfortable shoes and a smile!  Maybe mosquito repellent?

The Hunt School Fall Carnival is the major fundraiser for the school & district.  The Rotary Club of Kerrville will staff a booth with two shifts, from 5-7pm and 7-9pm.  Of course volunteers can work both shifts.

Club will be bringing over 2 Cornhole Toss Games.  This will allow 4 children to play and get the bag in the hole.  If it doesn't work the first time, move them up until it does!!!  They will be playing for Teddy Bears donated by the Fairlawn Rotary Club in New Jersey!  The goal is that every student & child gets a bear.

Rotarians are asked to wear their Rotary Shirts and Caps for identification.  We will set up around 3pm.  

What a great way to reward the children in this community who were hit so hard by the flooding!  Please register and state the shift you would like to work!!
