Blue Santa Program!

The Rotary Club of Kerrville has supported the Blue Santa Food Program for many years.  This year, Rotarians & Interactors & IMPACT Companion Club members will meet at Ronnie Bock's RV off Sidney Baker at 8am on Saturday, December 9th in the back garage.

We will then begin sorting and packaging food for pickup by approximately 50 families.  This is a service project funded by our club with the help of a District 5840 grant.  We will package approx. $5K worth of food.  Families will pick up clothing and toys in a different location on the lot and have the chance to meet Santa & Ms. Claus!  

This is a great opportunity to work alongside others who have a heart for service!  Please wear a Rotary shirt, hat or nametag to show how Rotary is working in this community.  If you register to volunteer and don't have one of these identification items, let us know and we will bring something for you that day!

We are hoping for at least 15 volunteers!  Please consider helping and making this part of a Christmas tradition.

Let's get together and clean up our section of Goat Creek Road!!!  Meet at Tally Elementary at 7:45AM for coffee, donuts & kolaches!  Then, break into groups to get the trash picked up and bagged!  The more help we have, the easier and faster it will be!  Register via the invite!  Interactors from Tivy will also be helping - it's a party!!!

Hello Rotarians!

Rotary Clubs throughout District 5840 have been making Origami Cranes for an all District Project.  Each club has been asked to make at least 20 Cranes and deliver them to the District.  With over 50 clubs this = over 1000 cranes.  

In March the Interactors will put these all together into a large mobile which will then be donated to a San Antonio Library.  Cranes are a symbol of Peace, which is one of Rotary areas of focus.

So, no experience is necessary!  We have a video to follow as each of us put together a crane.  If we can get at least 20 volunteers  - this will work!!!  Paper is being provided, we just need your help!

So, please plan on arriving at Rotary this coming wThanks so much!eek at 11am ... we can get this done and have some fun!

We need your help picking up the trash off Goat Creek Road!  Date for clean-up is Saturday, Feb 24th 

from 8am- 9am.  We need at least 8-10 volunteers from the club.  This is a great way to meet our Environmental 

goal for our club.  And, it's kinda fun to get some exercise and perhaps find some really unique items!  Let's make

this happen.  

We will be presenting the Josh the Otter Water Safety Program to the second graders at 10:05 AM and third graders at 10:50 am.  Judy Eychner will be leading this session.  We will need about 6 volunteers, so please sign up.

We will present Josh the Baby Otter Water Safety to the second and third graders at 10 AM and 10:45 AM respectively.  Kristi Shepherd is leading these sessions.  We will need about 6 volunteers, so please sign up.

We will present the Josh the Baby Otter Water Satey Program to the second and third graders at The Hill Country Youth Ranch Ingram campus at 3 PM on April 22nd.  Ann Vaughn is the Lead.  We will need about 4 volunteers.

We will be presenting the Josh the Otter Water Safety Program to the second graders at 2:30 PM.  Judy Eychner will be leading this session.  We will need about 4 volunteers, so please sign up.

The Rotary Club of Kerrville Picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st at River Star Arts Pavilion.  There will be no lunch meeting this day.  This is a family friendly event, so please register your families & friends.
