  Dennis Glenewinkel Introduces our guest Jeannie Slupik.
 
 Jeannie spoke about her experiences as a Guardian for the Veterans.
 
  They take like 40 vets on a trip twice a year, to Washington DC to see memorials.
  Rules are every vet get a guardian and must have a wheelchair all the time. When ask     if they could go see other exhibits, she then read their timeline for trip. They barley 
  had time to complete the mission.

 Our main fundraiser for the year is SuperBall, and initial organizational meeting was held  October 23 at 5:30 pm. Contact Kristy Vandenberg if you are interested in helping out with our fund raiser. We had about 15 folks show up and volunteer for
different committees.
 
 Pints for Polio will be next Saturday evening, October 26th, 7-9 pm at the Dietert Center. Please come and support the effort to eradicate polio.
 
 Veterans Appreciation Breakfast will be November 8th, 8-9:30 am, at the Hill Country Veterans Center on Meadowview in Kerrville. Contact Jeff Harris for additional details.
