Brenda Cressey, a presidential representative from Rotary International, was one of the visitors at our Thursday meeting. Brenda delivered a message from R.I. president Gary Huang encouraging Rotarians to grow the membership and continue to expand the great programs we are engaged in. Brenda also gave a heart warming story about her grand nephew, who wanted to find out more about what Rotary, so he did some research and wrote a paper for school describing the great things that Rotary does, especially the Polio Plus program. Even though he was only ten years old, he delivered an impressive speech at his school, and Brenda shared it with us.
