Congressman Lamar Smith

Mr. Smith sat at the friendship table with members of Rotary having come from Washington for his free lunch. He joked that he would always travel for a free lunch. He added a couple of lines to Kristy's "Why" scenario before sharing with us his stance on several matters.

Mr. Smith would like and has two subpoenas that would make the EPA make public data that justifies all the regulations it has in place.

Mr. Smith states that he feels that sanctuary cities need to be held accountable.

Mr. Smith supports the weather forecast system that enable a quicker analysis and forewarning.

Mr. Smith protects NASA and supports its exploring our own system and Voyage 2 which is 30 years old to name a couple of items.

I named just the highlights of an excellent talk from Mr. Smith. It was truly a pleasure to listen. He answered questions from the members of Rotary. Thank you Mr Smith for coming.
