Family In Rotary

 

 

             I'm deeply sorry to report that we have lost a former member, who was the wife of another former club member.  Sherry Cunningham, wife of Rick Cunningham, died over the weekend after she was stricken while she was attending a family wedding in Fredericksburg.

             I hope that all of you have seen the obituary in today's paper, and the earlier story  on Sherry and all of her accomplishments and contributions.  She certainly lived up to the "Service Above Self" motto of Rotary.

             The memorial service will be tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, at 800 Jackson Road just off Harper Road.  Burial will be in Denton on Friday.

             The family has asked that memorial gifts go to the National MS Society at nationalmssociety.org, in honor of Sherry and her daughter-in-law, Angie Parham.

  Joe Benham was not feeling well so we want to put him on our prayer list.
