Ray Buck, General Manager, and Tara Bushnoe, Natural Resources coordinator for the Upper Guadalupe River Authority (UGRA) provided the program last Wednesday. Monitoring the river quality and planning for our water needs are ongoing issues that the agency administers. Considering that the economic impact of camps and tourism on the community is in the neighborhood of 47 million dollars a year, a clean river providing an adequate water supply is critical to our community.

The UGRA provides educational programs throughout the year to various groups, and the next one is “All Things Water” to be held June 29th, 9am to 4pm at the UGRA auditorium, 125 Lehmann Drive.
