Stephanie Miller joined the club six years ago after completing a Rotary Group Study Exchange, at the suggestion of member Fred Mosley. Three years ago, she accepted the position of Secretary of the club and now, she concluded her year as the Kerrville Rotary Club President with a thank you to all the committee members who contributed to the success of this year.
 
 A short summary of the Rotary year:
 
A successful First Responder Awards luncheon.
Great events by the Fellowship Committee.
Donated books for the Books of the World program.
Collected 40 bags of trash from the Highway Clean up on Goat Creek Rd.
Donated food and toys for needy families through the Blue Santa Program.
Collected 58 cell phones for the Cell Phones for Soldiers program.
Supported the Harper 5K run.
Participated in the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby.
Worked on Habitat for Humanity houses.
Provided the Early Act Program.
Distributed 450 dictionaries to local elementary schools.
Recognized area 5th graders with Citizenship Awards.
Collected four truckloads of food for local food banks and the Backpack Program.
Contributed to the program which provides computers and instruction for students in Brazil.
Had a successful Superball event which raised money for student scholarships.
Pints for Polio program raised money for polio vaccines.
Had great programs at our noon meetings.
Books were donated to mentoring centers in honor of our program speakers.
